The Event

Due to over population and global warming of earth, it has become barely liveable. In a desperate attempt to survive the human race took to the stars, trying to find a new home. They find a new solar system with loads of planets and moons, none which were yet liveable. Humans attempted to terraform these planets and moons, a process which would take decades. These pioneers of the starts built temporary domes which would shield them to harsh air till the terminating had been complete. But due to sabotage the process failed and the planet surface became a barren dessert. Due to low supplies many people left in the spaceships but there was only little space and many people were left behind. As supplies became scares the colonist formed gangs and started fighting over the remaining food and water. One gang took to the planet and claimed it as their own. But In the toxic air these people devolved and had turned into animals, they became the Creepers.  These monsters had lost all humanity and became the stuff of nightmares. They would kill and torture the innocent and then feed on their flesh. The colonists were safe in there domes or so they thought. The temporary dome started to fail so in a attempt to survive the colonist banded together under one man and made a vast underground city. A few gangs rejected the rule of this boss and decided to make their own cities on the wasteland. The boss was angry at this and started his quest to claim the whole world of his own.  But his dastardly plan had even more sinister intent.
